Another Way of Viewing The Rich Get Richer Philosophy

There is a scripture I always viewed in a certain common intepretation that I just recently realized had a broader meaning than how I used it.

It’s the basis of the adage “The rich get richer and the poorer get poorer”

Matthew 25:29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them

I had always seen that verse to speak to The Rich vs. The Poor.

After all it’s almost always cited with regards to poverty & wealth. How the rich keep buying Yellow Lamborginis and the poor lose the little they have to all sorts of disaster.

So there is a universal immutable principle known as The Principle of Correspondence :

i.e. “What is within is what is without”

It is the 2nd Hermetic Principle. The first is “Mentalism” (Which is basically about thoughts). There are 7 principles in total but we will only look at these 2 to illustrate my point.

Knowing these principles rang a new understanding to me of Matthew 25:29.

“What is within is without” the principle insists.

The verse in Matthew did not specify “money”.

So in this case we can use it how we want:

For whoever has (self love within) will be given more (love from outside), and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have (love within) , even what they have will be taken from them (on the outside)

We can always keep replacing the contents of those brackets to suit where we want to apply the meaning.

I set this up to say…

By loving yourself enough to develop yourself into the image of yourself you feel best in. Without expecting that love to come from external sources.

It means you’d have invested in “Having” from within. And when you have from within, more will be added from without.

More faith begets more faith.

More gratitude results in having circumstances that cause you to be more grateful.

More complaining begets?

You don’t want to experience that answer.

Well if you share more wisdom, you will get more wisdom. So feel free to share this around if it moves you.
